I thought you would enjoy seeing four more photos from Kimberly's book, Tablescapes (Gibbs-Smith). I know Mom of a German Shorthair will love these pheasant plates.

This tablescape whispers that spring can't be far behind.

What a delightful idea for a tablescape!
I am so ready for green!

I love this napkin ring. I'm wondering if I could make napkin rings from little stained glass "light catchers."
I'm still slogging away, but should be back posting regularly soon.
Hello Gollum, congrats on the babies, how lucky you are to experience such things down on the farm :). I am the proud owner of Kimberlys book and I love the butterfly rings and insect plates, so much inspiration, thank you for the recommendatios, happy to read that the slogging will be over soon for your sake and for ours, we miss you, hugs, Kathy.

And you are SO right, GG~~~ I ADORE those to-die-for pheasant plates (DEFINITELY "LOVE at FIRST SIGHT!")...annnnd, the old chargers (what CHARACHTER!), annnnd ALL the tables in general annnndddd....well, EVERYTHING is just too fabulous for words! (This gal has beauuuutiful "goodies"!)~~~ Jim's OOT (out of town), so I've been playing w/ table-settings for two days (BFF & her DH visiting soon, for 4 days!) & I thought they looked nice UNTIL I saw these. BUT, it's been fun messing up the dish pantry, etc! Many THANKS & CONGRATS on the babies, too!!! XOXOXOX, Linda

Thanks for sharing the beautiful eye candy! ♥ Diane
ReplyDeleteMichael's has in some butterflies for spring that look very similar to these...although they're not as blinged up, so they're not as ornate. Something could probably be done about that though! :O) A beautiful table. Have you visited this Austrailian blog?

There's a cool centerpiece & lots of eye candy.
These are beautiful photos! I'm going to try copying a tablescape from the book, for a post. It's fun going back again and again, seeing what I missed the first and second, etc...times.
ReplyDeleteLoving the napkin ring! Oh it looks so beautiful.Kathy
ReplyDeleteThe tablescapes are beautiful, but your "Quick Appetizers" are REALLY beautiful and delicious looking. Where there's a will, there's a way. I know you can come up with a solution to turning light catchers in to napkin rings.
ReplyDeleteI gotta say, moss on a table has never appealed to me. Am I the only one? How would you keep the dishes, flatware, napkins etc. clean? I'm with you, I'm so ready for spring.
